A RESOLUTION CLOSING, VACATING, ABANDONING AND
DISCONTINUING THE PUBLIC USE OF SUNNYBROOR ROAD,
BOUNDED ON THE NORTH BY THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY
OP N.W. 14TH STREET, BOUNDED TO THE WEST BY THE
NORTHERLY EXTENSION OF THE EAST RIGHT-OF-WAY
BOUNDARY OF N.W, 11TH AVENUE AND BOUNDED TO THE
S.E., BY THE NORTH WESTERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF
SR#836; IN CONJUNCTION WITH TENTATIVE PLAT NO. 996 -
"MEDICAL CENTER FIRST ADD".
WHEREAS, the Miami Zoning Board, at its meeting of March
20th, 1978, Item No. 4, following an advertised hearing, adopted
Resolution No. ZB 64-78 by a 7 to 0 vote recommending the official
vacation and closure of Sunnybrook Road as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it advisable and in
the best interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami and its
inhabitants to grant the vacation and closure as hereinafter set
forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Sunnybrook Road, bounded on the north by the
south right-of-way of N.W. 14th Street, bounded to the west by the
northerly extension of the east right-of-way boundary of N.W. llth
Avenue and bounded to the S.E. by the north westerly right -of way
line of SR No. 836, in conjunction with Tentative Plat No. 996 -
"MEDICAL CENTER FIRST ADD", be and the same is hereby closed,
vacated, abandoned and discontinued for public use.
