RESOLUTION NO. 7
A RESOLUTION CLOSING, VACATING, ABANDONING AND
DISCONTINUING THE PUBLIC USE OF COURT PLACE FOR
A DISTANCE OF + 150 FEET NORTH OF THE NORTH
R‘.0-W LINE OF S.E. 8TH STREET; AND OF THE EAST-
WEST ALLEY ABUTTING THE REAR LOT LINE OF LOTS 3, 4,
AND 5 OF J. AUSTIN HALL'S SUB (2-48), IN CONJUNCTION
WITH TENTATIVE PLAT NO. 989-A - "FLAGSHIP SUBDIVISION".
WHEREAS, the Miami Zoning Board at its meeting of March 6,
1978, Item No. 11, following an advertised hearing, adopted Resolution
No, ZB 57-78 by a 7 to 0 vote (1 member absent) recommending the
official vacation and closure of Court Place for a distance of
+ 150 feet north of the north r-o-w line of S.E. 8th stteet; and of
the east -west alley abutting the rear lot line of Lots 3, 4 and 5 of
J. Austin Hall's Sub (2-48), in conjunction with Tentative Plat
No. 989-A - FLAGSHIP SUBDIVISION; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it advisable and in
the best interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami and its
inhabitants to grant the vacation and closure as hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Court Place for a distance of + 150 feet north
of the north r-o-w line of S.E. 8th Street; and of the east -west
alley abutting the rear lot line of Lots 3, 4 and 5 of J. Austin Hall's
Sub (2-48), in conjunction with Tentative Plat No. 989-A "FLAGSHIP
SUBDIVISION", be and the same is hereby closed, vacated, abandoned and
discontinued for public use.
