RESOLUTION NO. 7
A RESOLUTION CLOSING, VACATING, ABANDONING AND
DISCONTINUING THE PUBLIC USE OF THAT PORTION OF
N.W. 9TH AVENUE LYING BETWEEN THE SOUTH ROW
LINE OF N.W. 62ND STREET AND THE NORTH R=O-W
LINE OF N.W. 61ST STREET, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
TENTATIVE PLAT NO. 1011-A "TACOLCY PARK".
WHEREAS, the Miami Zoning Board, at its meeting of March
6, 1978, Item No. 8, following an advertised hearing, adopted
Resolution No. ZB 53-78 by a 7 to 0 vote (1 member absent)
recommending the official vacation and closure of that portion of
N.W. 9th Avenue lying between the south r-o-w line of N.W. 62nd Street
and the north r-o-w line of N.W. 61st Street, in conjunction with
Tentative Plat No. 1011-A "TACOLCY PARK"; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it advisable and in
the best interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami and its
inhabitants to grant the vacation and closure as hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That portion of N.W. 9th Avenue lying between
the south r-o-w line of N.W. 62nd Street and the north r-o-w line of
N.W. 61st Street; in conjunction with Tentative Plat No. 1011-A
"TACOLCY PARK", be and the same is hereby closed, vacated and abandoned
and discontinued for public use.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27 day of April , 1978.
