A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY DRAWINGS
AND FINANCIAL FEASIBILITY REPORTS AS PRESENTED
BY DIPLOMAT WORLD ENTERPRISES, LTD. IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE TERMS OF ARTICLE 3. OF THE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA,AND DIPLOMAT
WORLD ENTERPRISES, LTD, DATED NOVEMBER 11, 1977.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Commission, by Resolution
77-671, dated July 28, 1977 authorized the City Manager to
execute a contract with Diplomat World Enterprises Ltd. for the
development and operation of Watson Island; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami, Florida,has entered into
an Agreement with Diplomat World Enterprises, Ltd., dated
November 11, 1977 for the purpose of developing and managing a
major park development facility in order to assist, improve and
fulfill critical economic, sports, recreational, commercial and
tourist development needs of the City of Miami, Florida on the

City -owned Watson Island; and ITEM NO.
WHEREAS, Diplomat World Enterprises, Ltd., irf accordance
with Article 3. of the aforesaid Agreement, was to cause the
completion, within 180 days of the execution of the aforesaid
Agreement, of preliminary drawings and financial feasibility
reports pursuant to Article 2(a), subparagraph (ii) obtained from
recognized professional design, architectural, construction,
engineering and economic consultants in accordance with Article 2(a),
subparagraph (i) of the aforesaid Agreement; and
WHEREAS, Diplomat World Enterprises, Ltd., has submitted
to the City of Miami, Florida,said preliminary drawings and
financial feasibility reports within 180 days of the execution of
the aforesaid Agreement, in accordance with Article 3„ and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami, Florida,has reviewed the
preliminary drawings and financial feasibility reports;
NOW, THEREFORE, RE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA;
Section 1. The measures taken by Diplomat World Enter-
prises, Ltd., in obtaining information relevant to the preparation
Of an overall design concept and budget for planning, operating
and developing City -owned Watson Island as a major amusement
park facility are hereby approved.
Section 2. The measures taken by Diplomat World Enter-
prises, Ltd., in obtaining preliminary drawings and financial
feasibility reports concerning theabove park facility are
hereby approved subject to such measures being acceptable to
the financial underwriters of the facility's development.
