DEMOLITION' will be received by the City Manager and the City Clerk
of the ..Ci1v4 of Miami, Florida, not later than 2 : 00 n, m on the 10th
day of Aprilj 1978;..in the City Clerk's office first floor of
tiie Miami City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive) Dinner Key) Miami,
Florida 33n3, at which tirne and place they will be publicly
opened and read,
The project consists of the demolition and removal From the site
of two buildings, the rubble remains of a burned buildir.r- and a
swimming pool. The buildings are a one-story CBS and a two-story
stucco over frame, All the structures are located i:,._ twr .:,n N. E. 58
and 59 Streets and N. E. Miami Court and N. E. Miami Place.
All bids shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions
to Bidders and :specifications. Plans and Specifications may be
obtained from the ' irector, Department of nublie Works, 532 Pan
American Drive, I°iami, Florida. Plans and Specifications are to
be returned in good order and unmarked within 10 days after bids
have been received.
Those minority or target area contractors/small businesses interested
in submitting bids are advised that The City of "tiami Office of Com-
munity Development has an arreement :':ith Contractors Training and
Development, Inc. to provide technical asistance in putting; together

on time.
In addition to these measures Contractors and Subcontractors will
be r'e aired to comply with the provisions of Section 3 (Federal
Regulations) which require all developers, contractors and sub-
contractors creme feasible opportunities to employ and train
residents in the area of the project; and five nreference in sub-
contracting and purchasing o" materials to businesses located in
or owned in substantial part by persons residinr in the area of
the project.

the opening thereof, unless modified in Division 2 - Special Con-
ditions of the Specifications. The estimated cost of this project
is $7,000, and iF to be funded by the Community Development Block
rant monies.
