A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MR, DANIEL J, COX
ANI) MR. DENNIS MURASAKI TO SERVE AS MEMBERS
ON THE INTERNATIONAL FOLK FESTIVAL COMMITTEE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following individuals are hereby
appointed to serve as Members on the International Folk
Festival Committee:

Dear Mayor Ferre:
February 24, 1978
At its meeting held January 19, 1978, the City of Miami
International Folk Festival Committee, by a unanimous vote
of its members present, recommended that the City Commission
be asked to appoint the following persons for membership on
the Folk Festival Committee to fill vacancies caused by two
persons who resigned:
Daniel J. Cox

Dennis Murasaki

(representing Bahamiam
American Federation)
(President, Japanese
American Association)
With these two appointments the Committee would retain its full
membership of 35 persons. Hoping that you and members of the
City Commission will approve of these nominees and with many
thanks for your support of the Folk Festival, I am.
