A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF D.M.P. CORPORATION
IN THE AMOUNT OF $33;135,00 FOR THE SOUTH GROVE
BICYCLE PATH MODIFICATIONS FROM THE ACCOUNTS ENTITLED
i"HIGHWAY G.O. BOND FUNDS" TN THE AMOUNT OF $8,135,00
AND "DADE COUNTY REIMBURSEMENT GRANT" IN THE AMOUNT
OF $25,000,00; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received February 2, 1978 for the
SOUTH GROVE BICYCLE PATH MODIFICATIONS; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $33,135.00 bid
of D.M.P. Corporation is the lowest responsible bid and recommends
that a contract be awarded to said firm; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Ordinance No. 8716 on
October 26, 1977, establishing resources and appropriations for
the implementation of capital improvements in the City of Miami,
Florida, for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1978; and
WHEREAS, the Cit;: Commission adopted Ordinance No. 8734 on
January 11, 1978, Ordinance No. 8745 on January 24, 1978 and
Ordinance No. 8772 on March 9, 1978, amending Section 1 of NDEX
Ordinance No. 8716; and DOCUMENT
WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Res t4IMO. 7 -915
on December 15, 1977, accepting a reimbursement grant of up to
$25,000.00 from Dade County for the repair -reconstruction of
the SOUTH GROVE BICYCLE PATH, for which the City will be responsible
for funding the cost of engineering and design services,
supervision of construction, the relocation of existing walls and
other costs incidental to the project from Highway Bond Funds
anticipated to cost a maximum of $12,500.00; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF i9IAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1, That the February 2, 1978 bid of D.M.P. Corporation
in the proposed amount of $33,135.00 for the project entitled
SOUTH GROVE BICYCLE PATH MODIFICATIONS for the Total Bid of the
Proposal is hereby accepted at the price stated th-__-
the cost of said Contract,

Section 2, That the amount of $330.35,00 be and it is
hereby programmed from the accounts entitled "Highway G,O,
Bond Funds" and "Dade County Reimbursement Grant",
Section 3. That the City Manager is hereby authorized
to enter into a Contract on behalf of The City of Miami with
D,M,P. Corporation for TUT SOUTH GROVE BICYCLE PATH
MODIFICATIONS.
