HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-78-01921USOt,tUTION NO, ..7$" 19` A tt1SOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PLAT ENTITLED STIRRUP GROVE SUBDIVISION No, 2, A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF MIAMI; AND ACCEPTING THE DEDICATIONS SHOWN ON SAID PLAT; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECT- ING THE CITY MANAGER AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE PLAT WHEREAS, the City Zoning Board and the Department of Public Works have recommended the acceptance of the plat; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CO MISSION OF THE CITY OF MIA,MI , FLORIDA: Section 1. The Plat entitled STIRRUP GROVE SUBDIVISION NO. 2, being a resubdivision of a portion of Tract B, "Saint Hugh Parish First Addition" according to the plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 84, at Page 16, together with Franklin Court, shown on the plat of "The Royal Gardens", according to the plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 20, at Page 3 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, all lying in the N.E. 4 of the South 4 of Section 21, Township 54 South, Range 41 East, City of Miami, Dade County, Florida, which by reference is made a part hereof as if fully incorporated herein and the dedica- tions as shown thereon together with all existing and future planting, trees and shrubbery on said property, to the perpetual use of the public, are hereby accepted and confirmed by the City of Miami, Florida. Section 2. The City Manager and the City Clerk are hereby author- ized and directed to execute the Plat. The Proposed Record Plat entitled STIRRUP GROVE SUBDIVISION NO. 2 is a resubdivision of a portion of Tract B, Saint Hugh Parish First Addition (84-16) together with Franklin Court, shown on the plat of "The Royal Gardens", (20-3) and will consist of sixteen (16) lots zoned R-2. This plat is being forwarded to your office for City Commission Action. The attached detailed report from the Department of Public Works recommends the approval of the plat by the City Commission of Miami, Florida, and certifies its correctness as to form. - Also attached are the following itemized papers necessary to present the Plat to the City Commission of Miami: Resolution accepting the Plat Print of proposed Record Plat Memorandum from the Department of Planning waiving landscaping requirements Memorandum from the Miami -Dade Water and Sewer Authority waiving the requirement to install water mains and appurtenances Portion of City Atlas Sheet No. 46 showing property platted colored in red WEP:WKB:vh THE CITY OF MI.AMI, FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS 1 MARCH 23, 1978 REPORT OF PROPOSED RECORD PLAT OF STIRRUP GROVE SUBDIVISION NO, 2 A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA The accompanying Plat entitled STIRRUP GROVE SUBDIVISION NO. 2 was prepared by General Surveying, Inc. It is in correct form for submission to the City Commission and is forwarded with a recommendation that it be approved, PERTINENT INFORMATION REGARDING THE PLAT: (1) The property platted is a resubdivision of a portion of Tract "B" of Saint Hugh Parish First Addition (84-16) together with Franklin Court, shown on the plat "The Royal Gardens" (20-3) and will consist of sixteen (16) lots zoned R-2. (2) The location of the streets and the widths conform with the standards of the Department of Public Works of the City of Miami, Florida. (3) As certified to by Henry R. Canalizo, Registered Land Surveyor, this Plat complies with the plat filing laws of the State of Florida. (4) By authority of Resolution No. ZB 129-75, adopted September 22, 1975, the Plat was recommended for acceptance by the City Zoning Board of Miami. (5) The attached Certificate of Title Examination dated February 16, 1978, signed by W. George Allen, Attorney, indicates that the fee simple title to the property platted is correctly vested in The Model City Development Corporation of Dade County Incorporated, and the Plat has been correctly executed. (6) The area platted is encumbered by a mortgage and the mortgage holder has executed the Plat and joined in its dedications.
