WHEREAS, the City commission adopted Ordinance
No. 8731 on December 16, 1977, establishing revenues and
appropriations for the City of Miami, Florida for the fiscal
year ending September 30, 1978; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Resolution
No. 77-880 on November 10, 1977, allocating $1,500 from the
General Fund, Special Programs and Accounts, Quality of Life
Program, for a mural painting project on certain buildings in
Coconut Grove; and
WHEREAS the City Commission adopted a Resolution
on February 23, 1978, accepting contributions of $1,000 each
from three owners and/or lessees of buildings in Coconut Grove
and allocating an additional $3,000 from the Quality of Life
Program - Miscellaneous Account, the total of $6,000 to be used
for further artistic improvements to Coconut Grove buildings;
and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to increase City appropri-
ations in an amount of $3,000 in order to expand said private
contributions; and
WHEREAS, the $3, 000 in private contributions as
wall as the additional $3,000 allocated from the quality
of Life Program can be placed in an account within the
Ouaiity of Life Program entitled "Coconut drove Painted
Architecture - Pilot Project" along with the $1,508' allocated
in Resolution No. 77i889.

adopted December 16, 1977, as amended, is hereby further
amended in the following particulars: 1/
"Section 1. The following appropriations are
made for municipal operations of the City of
Miami, Florida for the Fiscal Year 1977-78,
including the payment of principal
on all General Obligation Bonds.

effect and remain unchanged. Asterisks indicate omitted
and unchanged material, All figures are rounded to the

Section 3. If any section, part of section, para-
graph, clause phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared
invalid, the remaining provisions of this ordinance shall not
be affected.
Section 4. All ordinances, code sections, or parts
thereof in conflict herewith, insofar as they are in conflict,
are hereby repealed.
