HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-78-0160RESOLUTION NO, 0 M�...-.._i:�3rx�,ya� '� _.� A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PLAT ENTITLED EDGEWATER AMENDED PLAT, A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OP MIAMI; AND ACCEPTING THE DEDICATIONS SHOWN ON SAID PLAT; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE PLAT, WHEREAS, the City Zoning Board and the Department of Public Works have recommended the acceptance of the plat; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1, The Plat entitled EDGEWATER AMENDED PLAT, being a re- subdivision of Lots 4 thru 6, "EDGEWATER PLAT", according to the plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 2, at Page 31, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, all lying in Section 30, Township 53 South, Range 42 East, City of Miami, Dade County, Florida, which by reference is made a part hereof as if fully incorporated herein and the dedica- tions as shown thereon together with all existing and future planting, trees and shrubbery on said property, to the perpetual use of the pub- lic, are hereby accepted and confirmed by the City of Miami, Florida. Section 2. The City Manager and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the Plat. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of March , 1978. Parkes, Director Department of Public Works Vrt rnr £ •>E 4cE5: March g, 10$ `'t" Cadastral _-= EDGEWATER AMENDED PLAT Resolution Accepting Proposed Record Plat, located at N.E. 23 Street and Discayne boulevard The Proposed Record Plat entitled EDGEWATER AMENDED PLAT is a resubdivision of Lots 4 through 6 inclusive, Blk. 10, Edgewater Subdivision (2-31) and will consists of one (1) parcel having an area of 0.38t of an acre. It is zoned C-1. This plat is being forwarded to your office for City Commission Action. The attached detailed report from the Department of Public Works recommends the approval of the plat by the City Commission of Miami, Florida, and certifies its correctness as to form. Also attached are the following itemized papers necessary to present the Plat to the City Commission of Miami: Resolution accepting the Plat Print of proposed Record Plat Agreement form pertaining to subdivision improvements Opinion of Title Memorandum from the Department of Planning pertaining to landscaping requirements Memorandum from the Miami -Dade Water and Sewer Authority waiving the requirement to install water mains and appurtenances Portion of City Atlas Sheet No. 21 showing property platted colored in red WEP:WKB:met "SUPPORTIVE DOCUMENTS FOLLOW» THE CITY or MIAMI, FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OP PUBLIC WORKS MARCH 9, 1978 REPORT OF PROPOSED RECORD PLAT OF EDGEWATER AMENDED PLAT A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * The accompanying Plat entitled EDGEWATER AMENDED PLAT was prepared by Donald W. McIntosh. It is in correct form for submission to the City Commission and is forwarded with a recommendation that it be approved. PERTINENT INFORMATION REGARDING THE PLAT: (1) The property platted is a resubdivision of Lots 4-6 inclusive, Blk. 10, Edgewater Subdivision (2-31) and will consist of one (1) parcel having an area of 0.38± of an acre. It is zoned C-1. (2) The location of the streets and the widths conform with the standards of the Department of Public Works of the City of Miami, Florida. (3) As certified to by James W. Leavy, Registered Land Surveyor, this Plat complies with the plat filing laws of the State of Florida. (4) The City Planning and Zoning Board of Miami, Florida, after Public Hearing, has recommended the closing of an alley. This action was confirmed by City Commission Resolution No. 41630 dated June 25, 1970. (5) By authority of Resolution No. 70-195, adopted August 31, 1970, the Plat was recommended for acceptance by the City Zoning Board of Miami. (6) The attached Certificate of Title Examination dated February 20, 1978, signed by Stanley H. Spieler, Attorney, indicates that the fee simple title to the property platted is correctly vested in Walter S. Falk and Stanley H. Spieler and the Plat has been correctly executed. (7) The area platted is encumbered by a mortgage and the mortgage holder has executed the Plat and joined in its dedications. SPIELER, This Cashier's Check has been deposited with the Director of Finance and will guarantee the completion of the subdivision improvement$ according to the provisions of the Agreement between The City of Miami and the aforementioned WALTER S, EALK and STANLEY H. SPIELER, The improvements required at the property platted are listed as follows: Landscaping, Asphaltic Concrete Pavement, Removal of existing Sidewalk, Removal of existing Curb & Gutter, Sidewalk, and Curb and Gutter, (9) The location of the property is shown colored in red on the accompanying copy of a portion of City of Miami Atlas Sheet No. 21.
