HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-78-0149RESOLUTION NO. 78 1 4.9 A RESOLUTION CLOSING, VACATING, ABANDONING AND DISCONTINUING THE PUBLIC USE OF THE EAST=WEST ALLEY LYING BETWEEN N.E. 2ND COURT AND BISCAYNE BOULEVARD AT THE SOUTHERLY END OF THE BLOCK BETWEEN N.E, 17TH TERRACE AND 18TH STREET, IN CONJUNCTION WITH TENTATIVE PLAT #1007 - 'BISCAYNE FEDERAL PLAZA AMENDED". WHEREAS, the Miami Zoning Board at its meeting of January 9, 1978, Item No. 9, following an advertised hearing, adopted Resolution No, ZB 10-78 by a 7 to 0 vote recommending the official vacation and closure of the East-West alley lying between N.E. 2nd Court and Biscayne Boulevard at the Southerly end of the block between N.E. 17th Terrace and 18th Street, in conjunction with Tentative Plat #1007 - "Biscayne Federal Plaza Amended"; and WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it advisable and in the best interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami and its inhabitants to grant the vacation and closure as herein- after set forth; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE •i 4•" t".X CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: jT j.M NO. Section 1. The East-West alley lying between N.E. 2nd Court and Biscayne Boulevard at the Southerly end of the block between N.E. 17th Terrace and 18th Street, in conjunction with Tentative Plat #r1007 - "Biscayne Federal Plaza Amended" be and the same is hereby closed, vacated, abandoned and discontinued for public use. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of February 1978.
