Report on Station Area Design
and Development
As you know, the Planning Department is extensively involved in
preparing plans and development proposals around stations included
in the Rapid Transit Program. I would suggest that we schedule a
presentation to the City Commission at their second meeting in
February so that they may see the extent to which the Rapid Transit
System will impact development opportunities within Miami. If you
concur, I will have Jack tuft assemble a number of display materials
which the City Commission would find, I believe, useful and informative.
