SEPTEMBER 30, 1913; CONTAINING A REPEALER
PROVISION AND A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND
DISPENSING WITH THE REQUIREMENT OF READING
THE SAME ON TWO SEPARATE DAYS BY A VOTE OF
NOT LESS THAN FOUR --FIFTHS OF THE MEMBERS OF
THE COMMISSION,
WHEREAS, the Olympia Building, at 174 East Flagler Street,
Miami, Florida, is owned by the City of Miami, which has the responsi-
bility to perform maintenance and Upkeep as required; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Ordinance No. 8435 on
July 31, 1975, authorizing the Off -Street Parking Board of the City of
Miami to administer the City facility known as Gusman Hall and the Olym-
pia Building; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Ordinance No.8691 on
September 8, 1977, approving appropriations for the operation and mainte-
nance of Gusman Hall and the Olympia Building of the City of Miami for
fiscal year 1977-78; and
WHEREAS, the Off -Street Parking Board has submitted a fi-
nancial statement showing a deficit of $29,422 for the operation of
Gusman Hall and the Olympia Building in the fiscal year ending September
30, 1977; and
WHEREAS, unexpended funds are available in Special Programs
and Accounts, and the amount of $29,422 can be transferred from the Con-
tingent Fund to a new account in Special Programs and Accounts entitled;
"Contribution to Gusman Hall - Olympia Building;"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED SY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
