HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-78-0116RFC/rb 2/17/ 78 RESOLUTION NO. 7 8` 1 I G A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO THE ATTACHED AGREEMENT WITH THE NATIONAL CENTER FOR MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT, INC, TO CONTINUE REPRESENTATION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI IN WASHINGTON, D.C,, BY MR, MARK ISRAEL, AS PART OF THE MAN IN WASHINGTON PROGRAMS FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF $27,000 AS A FEE FOR SAID SERVICES, PAYABLE IN 12 EQUAL MONTHLY INSTALLMENTS; WITH FUNDS ALLOCATED FROM THE GENERAL FUND - SPECIAL PROGRAMS AND ACCOUNTS, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF niAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into the attached Agreement with the National Center for Municipal Development, Inc., to continue representation of the CITY OF MIAMI in Washington, D.C., by Mr. Mark Israel, as part of the Man In Washington Program. Section 2. The sum of $27,000, payable in 12 monthly equal installments is hereby approved as a fee for said services, with funds hereby allocated from the General Fund - Special Programs and Accounts.
