The Law provides that the City Commission select the newspaper in which this advertisement is to appear, at a regular meeting in February of each year, House Bill No. 336, passed by the 1943 legislature, provides that the advertisement to be published in connection with the sale of delinquent special improvement assessment liens for non-payment "shall not require more than twenty-seven inches of newspaper space at each insertion". Since the advertisement should be given as much publicity as possible, it is suggested that one of the daily newspapers be selected. The newspapers selected for the 1977 advertisement were the Miami Review, Miami News, Diario Las Americas, and the Liberty News. Please place this item on the February 9, 1978 City Commission agenda. cc: George F. Knox, Jr., City Attorney (Attn: Robert F. Clark)
