On Saturday January 28, 1978, at 11 a.m. Allapattah's resi-
dents will be celebrating the anniversary of Jose Marti's
birthday.
We respectfully solicit the city's help in acquiring the
Allapattah/Comstock par.k, located on N.W. 28 Street, and 17
Avenue from 8 a.m. to 3_ p.m. We also request a show mobile
and police ption.
The act sponsored by Allapattah's Community would include
a parade of Allapattah's youngster before the bust of Jose
Marti. Then, free gifts will be given out to the areas low-
income children of all ethnic backgrounds. Finally a show
for the enjoyment pf everyone at the celebration consider-
ing the great importance of this date for all Americans we
humbly request your prompt attention to this matter.
We will be expecting approximately 700 guests, and about
500 will be children.
