Please be advised that I represent People Shelters, Inc., a Florida corporation
engaged in the business of providing people shelters at various key locations in the
State of Florida.
We are presently under franchise agreements from various municipalities within the
state and are in the process of erecting these shelters at the present time. These
shelters provide a place of refuge from wind, rain and sun, a place to sit while
waiting for a bus or otherwise, a telephone for placement of calls and trash
recepticles. These shelters are being provided to various municipalities and
counties and at no cost to the public. They are lighted at night and are constructed
in accordance with the South Florida Building Code of steel and bronze aluminum
frame, tinted tempered glass or plexiglass and of the finest products and
workmanship available.
In addition, we are prepared to pay a franchise fee to the city or county for the
non-exclusive right of erecting maintaining and providing the shelters.
We are able to do all the foregoing in exchange for the advertising revenue
obtained from providing media services to interested advertisers.
These shelters are already in prominent positions in Europe and in other counties
and states and municipalities in this country and represent a unique opportunity for
the citizens to have the convenience of the shelter; the government to receive
revenues from the granting of the right; and to my client, who will be investing the
capital, the necessary advertising revenues in order to provide the above.
We would appreciate your placing this matter of our request on tour earliest
council„agend for your immediate attention and interest as my client is the most
fit and able company of its type to provide the shelters.
