A RESOLUTION CLOSING, VACATING, ABANDONING AND DISCONTINUING THE PUBLIC USE OF THAT PORTION OF N,W. 17TH COURT LYING BETWEEN NORTHWESTERLY PRODUCTION OF THE SOUTHWESTERLY BOUNDARY OF LOT 66 OF LAWRENCE PARR AMD (7440) AND THE WESTERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF N.W. 17TH AVENUE; ALL IN CONJUNCTION WITH TENTATIVE PLAT #1003=A "BETTY'S ISLAND", WHEREAS, the Miami Zoning Board at its meeting of December 19, 1977, Item No. 8, following an advertised Hearing, adopted Resolution No. ZB 236-77 by a 7 to 0 vote recommending the official vacation and closure as hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it advisable and in the best interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami and its inhabitants to grant the vacation and clot-ure as hereinafter set forth; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That portion of N.W. 17th Court lying between northwesterly production of the southwesterly boundary of Lot 66 GEORGE KNOX, JR,CI ATTORNEY of LAWRENCE PARK AMD (7-140) and the westerly right-of-way line of N.W. 17th Avenue;all in conjunction with Tentative Plat #1003-A "BETTY'S ISLAND", be and the same is hereby closed, vacated, abandoned and discontinued for public use. Blake Gentlemen: The Miami Zoning Board, at its meeting of December 19, 1977, Itern #8, following an advertised Hearing, adopted Resolution No. Z13 236-77 by a 7 to 0 vote Recommending the official Vacation and Closure of that portion of N.W. 17th Court lying between northwesterly production of the southwesterly boundary of Lot 66 of LPWRENCE PARK AMD (7-140) and the westerly right-of-way line of N.W. 17th Avenue; all in conjunction with Tentative Plat ##1003-A "BETTY'S ISLAND". Two objections were received in the mail; two objectors were present at the meeting.
