Coordinated "Overseas Training Program" for engineers and other technical personnel of the Esso Belot Refinery at other refineries and training centers in several countries. Translated into Spanish the Operating Manuals for all units (Hydroformer, Hydrofiner, Polymerization, Light Ends, etc.) of the newly expanded refinery. Company was confiscated by com- munist r6gime in 1960. Then acting as Employee Relations Secretary. 1960 Es-c Inter -America Inc. - Coral Cables to Employee Relations - Secretary. Implemented the company's employ - date ment and financial assistance program for former employees arriving from Cuba. With affiliate, Esso Chemical Inter -America, handled purchase orders from Caribbean and Central and South American af- filiates for chemicals, processing them with domestic and overseas refineries and plants to final destination. 1968 While in the (uninterrupted) employ of Esso Inter -America, undertook the intensive training program for two Cuban medical teams which enabled them to communicate accurately in English during assignment in Viet Nam. Each team con- •,s-isted of one doctor and two nurses. Training in everyday vocabulary, as well as medical terminology, consisted of daily six -hour sessions. In 1976 and 1977 the Cuban Museum co- ordinated the presentation of art exhibits for Reencuentro Cubano. League Against Cancer (1975---) Founder Board Member.
