HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-78-0045RESOLUTION NO a .".._...�', A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PLAT ENTITLED .TACK YANKS SUBDIVISION, A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OP MIAMI, AND ACCEPTING THE DEDICATIONS SHOWN ON SAID FLAT, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER AND "SUPPORTIVEHE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE FLAT DOCUMENTS FOLLOW" WHEREAS, the City Zoning Board and the Department of public Works have recommended the acceptance of the plat entitled JACK YANKS SUBDIVISION; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The Plat entitled JACK YANKS SUBDIVISION, being a subdivision of a portion of that unplatted land in Biscayne Bay which lies easterly of Lot 1, in Block 4, of EDGEWATER, according to the plat thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 2, at Page 31, of the Public Records of Dade County, lying in the S.W. 4 of Section 30, Township 53 South, Range 42 East, City of Miami, Florida, which by reference is made a part hereof as if fully incorporated herein and the dedications as shown thereon together with all existing and future planting, trees and shrubbery on said property, to the per- petual use of the public, be and the same are hereby accepted and confirmed by the City of Miami, Florida. Section 20 The City Manager and the City Clerk, both of the City of Miami, Florida, are hereby authorized and directed to execute the Plat. PASSED AND ADOPTED this :"4th day of .►wary 19 78 . Resolution Accepting Proposed Record Plat) located at N.E. 24 Street between 6 and 7 Avenues The Proposed Record Plat entitled JACK YANKS SUB. is a subdivision of a portion of unplatted land east of Lot 1, Blk. 4, EDGEWATER (2-31) and will consist of one (1) tract having a total of 0.68± of an acre. It is zoned R---5. This plat is being forwarded to your office for City Commission Action. The attached detailed report from the Department of Public Works recommends the approval of the plat by the City Commission of Miami, Florida, and certifies its correctness as to form. Also attached are the following itemized papers necessary to present the Plat to the City Commission of Miami: Resolution accepting the Plat Print of proposed Record Plat Opinion of Title Memorandum from the Department of Planning pertaining to landscaping requirements Memorandum from the Miami -Dade Water and Sewer Authority waiving the requirement to install water mains and appurtenances Portion of City Atlas Sheet No. 21 showing property platted colored in red WEP : WKB:met "SU PPORTIVE DOCU M ENTS FOLLOW" THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS JANUARY 24, 1978 REPORT OF PROPOSED RECORD PLAT OF JACK YANKS SUBDIVISION A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA The accompanying Plat entitled JACK YANKS SUBDIVISION was prepared by E. R. Brownell & Associates, Inc. It is in correct form for submission to the City Commission and is forwarded with a recommendation that it be approved. PERTINENT INFORMATION REGARDING THE PLAT (1) The property platted is a subdivision of a portion of that unrlatted land lying easterly of Lot 1, Blk. 4, EDGEWATER (2-31) and will consist of one (1) tract having a total area of 0.68± of an acre. It is zoned R-5. (2) The location of the streets and the widths conform with the standards of the Department of Public Works of the City of Miami, Florida. (3) As certified to by E. R. Brownell, Registered Land Surveyor, this Plat complies with the plat filing laws of the State of Florida. (4) By authority of Resolution No. 206-77, adopted November 7, 1977, the Plat was recommended for acceptance by the City Zoning Board of Miami. (5) The attached Certificate of Title Examination dated December 5, 1977, signed by Alien Kornblum, Attorney, indicates that the fee simple title to the property platted is correctly vested in JACK YANKS and RUTH YANKS, his wife, and the Plat has been correctly executed. (6) The area platted is encumbered by a mortgage and the mortgage holder has executed the Plat and joined in its dedications.
