The following appropriations are made for municipal operations of the City of Miami, Florida, for the fiscal year 1977-78, including the payment of prin- cipal and interest on all General Obligation Bonds. DeP oetS" recreation December 8, 1977 Park Design Division • Appropriations Ordinance 4.4 The Department of Parks and Recreation is ready to begin staffing and purchasing supplies and equipment to implement the Park Design Division. The Division will consist of ten (10) personnel, including seven (7) Landscape Architects, one (1) Park planning. Coordinator, one (1) Secretary It, and one (1) Typist Clerk tt. Operational costs for the fiscal year 1977.78 are projected to be $325, 711. This amount will be funded totally by federal grants and bond funds. The major federal grant being Community Development and the major source of bond funds being Parks for People. Attached is a proposed ordinance to amend the 1977-78 Annual Appropriations Ordinance by increasing the Parks Department appropriation by $325, 711, by increasing revenues other than ad valorem taxes by the same amount, and by providing necessary adjustments for intragovernmental services to the Park Design Division.
