1 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO ISSUE TO NEW YORK TRUST

CATES OF INDEBTEDN&9S FOR MOTOR EQUIPNWT FOR
(AGE DIVISION.
WHEREAS, New York Trust Company through H. F. Dann, their
attorney, have offered to sell to the City of Miami Five (6)
Unite& Trnoks at a prioe of #1400.00 eaoh; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the list -price of said tracks is
#2600.00 each and that the City of Miami could save approximately
#6000.00 by parohasing said equipment at this tine; and
WHEREAS, it appears that binds are not available for this
purpose and that oertificates of indebtedness will have to be
issued for the payment of the coat of such traoks;
NOW, AFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIIAMIEI:
That the City Manager and the Direotor of Finanoe be, and
they are hereby, authorized and directed to issae certificates of
indebtedness to New York Trust Company in the amount of 16,000.00
and to Miami United Track Company for #1,000.00, both of said
certificates to bear interest at the rate of 6% and due in one (1)
year from date in payment for five (5) model 24A, 1} ton United
Tricks with oabs, eleotrio lights and starters, equipped with
32x6 pneumatio tires, front and rear, wheel base 162", with stack
body.
PISSED AND ADOPTED this 29th day of November, 1. D. 1926.
