EXECUTION BY THE CITY MANAGER OF CONTRACTS
WITH THE INGAmT,S IRON WORKS COMPANY FOR
STRUCTURAL STEE1J AND GALVANIZED SHEETS ON
PIER SHEDS 2 AND 3 ON PIER #2; AND PROVIDING
FOR PAYIZNT OF THE COST BY CERTIFICATES OF
IITDEB TEDNES S .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI:
Section 1. That the two contracts with The Ingalls
Iron Works Company, dated October 26th, 1926, for structural
steel and galvanized sheets on Pier Sheds 2 and 3 on Pier #2
at City Docks, executed by F. H. Wharton, City Manager, for
and on behalf of the City of Miami, Florida, be, and the same
are hereby, ratified and confirmed.
Section 2. That the City Manager and the Director of
Finance are hereby authorized and directed to execute certifi-
cates of indebtedness of the City of Miami in payment of the
cost of the work included under the above contracts, said
certificates to bear interest at the rate of 6 per cent. per
annum and shall be payable in cash, at par, within 12 months
from date of their issuance.
