A RESOLUG'ION AUTHORIZING TH't�'., CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE
CONTR;iCTS FOR CONSTRUCTING AND RLPAIRIIIG WAREHOUSES AND
OFFICI BUILDI!;GS 0:1 CITY DOCKS.
WHIIREA5, the City :,tanager has submitted estimates of post
of constructing and repairing Warehouses and Office Buildings on
the City Docks as follows, to -wit:
Constructing Merchant & Miners Office 113,000,00
Completing hanger building 4,500.00
Repairing roofs, sash, etc., all steel
warehouses including doors on No. 1 24,000.00
Repairs to store -room (Truoson Bldg.). 1,000.00
Constructing warehouses 2 and 3 70,000.00
Clyde Line Office Building • 40,000.00
Pier #3, Viarehouses 11 and 12 and
B & C Office 150,000.00
Pier #3, Paving 25, 000.00
Constructing 2nd story on Warehouse 1 20, J00.00
TOTAL estimated cost of work. . $347,500.00

work should be proceeded with at once,

to negotiate the work sat forth above and to secure contracts for
suoh portions thereof as he deems advisable, s ueh contracts to be
submitted for the Commission for approval.
