A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID.OF AND AWARDING
CONTRACT TO HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF STREET PAVIiNG IN HIGHWAY I?;SPROVE-
J T.TTT DISTRICTS 316 & 317 AND AUTIHORIZING THE EXE-
CTJTION OF SAID CONTRACT, DESIGNATED CONTRACT PV-81.
WHEREAS, upon tabulation of bids received October 25th,
1926, for the construction of street paving in Highwayy Improve-
ment Distriots 316 and 317, designated Contract Pv-81, it appears
that the bid of Highway Construction Company is the lowest and
best bid received for the said work;
NOW, THerefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMIS3ION OF THE
CITY OF I.iI11I.iI:
Section 1. That the bid of Highway Construction Company for
the construction of street paving in Highway Improvement Districts
316 and 317, at and for the sum of y;3O7,306.96 be, and the same is
hereby, accepted and contract for the work, designated Contract
Pv-81, is hereby awarded to said Highway Construction Company.
Section 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to execute, for and on behalf of the City of Miami,
contract with said Highway Construction Company for the said work.
PASSED AND LDOPTED this 4th cloy of November, A. D. 1926.
