FOAL HIGHWAY FROM N.E. 5BTH STREET TO CITY LIMITS
AND LUTHORIZUG THE 01TY MANAGER TO ELUTE, FOR AND
ON BEHALF OF THE CITY O! MTAMT, AN ACCEPTANCE OF TEE
SAID arm.
SAS, John 8. Phipps, Henry C. Phipps and Howard Phipps
by and through Paul R. Scott, their authorised agent, have sub-
mitted an offer to purchase special improvement bonds of the City
of Miami cowering the pavement of Federal Highway frog N. 16 38th
Street to the City Limits at an approximate cost of $4O1,0OO.O0,and
WHEREAS, the offer is in cog liaaae with the agreement here-
tofore had by and between the City Commission and the said John S.
Phipps, Henry C. Phipps and Howard Phipps in referenoe to the pay-
ing of said highway and the construction of an under -pass as set
forth in said offer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY Or ¥TA1ut:
That the offer of John 3. Phipps, Henry 0. Phipps and Howard
Phipps as set forth in their oommunioation bearing date of August
30th, 1926, be, and the same le hereby, accepted and confirmed ao-
cording to the terms and conditions in said offer.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Manager be, and he is
hereby, authorized to execute, for and on behalf of the City of ]Miami,
an acceptance of the said offer made by Paul R. Scott, by and on be-
half of John 3. Phipps, Henry C. Phipps and Howard Phipps, when the
said John 3. Phipps, Henry C. Phipps and Howard Phipps confirm and
approve the offer.
PASSED AND ADOPTED thia 4th day of October, A. D. 1926.
