Seats on 1. That an "ADVISORY NEA Ta BOARD" " be, and. the same
is hereby created, said Board to be, composed of seven citizen mem-
bers and the Director of the Department of Public Welfare as member
ex officio.
section 2. That all of the members of said board, except
the Director of the Department of Public 11elf are , shall be appointed
upon request and recommendation of tie Uity Manager and s}ia11 hold
office for the period of two years from the date of their appoint-
ment by the City Commission and until their successors are appointed
and qualified, and shall serve without compensation.
section 3. That the Director of Public Welfare shall be pre-
siding officer at all meetings of said Board and be shall perform
such duties as usually devolve upon such officer in Boards of simi-
lar capacity.
Section 4. said Board shall act in an advisory oapaoity in
conjunction with the Division of Public Health in the Department
of Public welfare as provided by Section W of the City Charter.
5eotion 5. That the membership of said Board shall consist
of three licensed physicians, an attorney at law, a sanitary engi-
neer, the superintendent of Public Instruction, a member of the
Parent.' eaohera association and the ;director of .'ublio Welfare as
ex officio member.
