BE IT ORDAINED BY 1"tir. CITI 00=66ION OP THE CITY OP LWI:
Section 1. That the fee for the issuance of permits for the
erection of elevators in any building or buildings within the City of
.iiami be •Iiid the same is hereby fixed xs followo:
To erect an elevator in a building three (3)
stories in height, or less�2.r0
To erect an elevator in a building not less
than four (4) stories nor more than eight (a)
stories in height • . 1.60
To erect an elevator in a uuildin nine (9)
stories high, or over 2.00

Section 2. That before anz' permit shall be issued that the
applicant or applicants shall comply with the ouildin; ordinance or
ordinances now in force or that may be hereafter passed and adopted.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall in no wise be retro-
active or applicable to buildings or structures now being constructed,
erected, altered or repaired.
Section 4. That and person or persons, and the members of
any firm or corporation failing to secure a permit as herein provided
or violating the provisions of any section of this ordinance shall
upon conviction be panished by a fine not exceeding Two Htuelred (Q200.00)
Dollars, or imprisonment not exceedin.g a period of sixty (60) days, or
by both such fine and imprisonment.
Section 5. That all such laws or parts of laws in conflict be
