A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT T OF BILL OF
J. B. McCRARY EiV'G-DE RING CORPORATION FOR EXTRA
WORK AND MATERIALS FURNISHED UNDER CITY ShwER
CONTRACT SR-50, DISTRICT 128-A, AND APPROPRIATING
FUNDS FOR THE PAYMENT OF TITE COST OF SUCH EXTRA
WORK AND MATERIALS.
WHEREAS, it appears that the quantities estimated by the
Engineers in the construction of sewers in District Sr-128-A
have been exceeded, which excess quantities figured and extended
on the basis of the unit prices bid by the oontraetor for the work
amounting to ? 3,839.94, and
WHEREAS
the Acting City Manager reports the excess work is
due to installation of inlets, inlet connections, additional man-
holes and sewer which were not awarded the contractor under the
original contract, but later found to be advisable to be included
in Contract r-50,
NOW, TIfRREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY E CO1MISSICI? OF THE CITY
OF L:L MI
Section 1. That the bill of J. B. MoCrary Engineering Cor-
poration in the amount of 3,839.94 for extra work and materials
furnished in the eounstruction of sewers in Sewer District 128-A,
under Contract Sr-50, be, and the same is hereby, approved and the
Director of Fins nce authorized to pay same.
Section 2. That the sum of :,659.94 is hereby appropriated
for the payment of such e::cewc cost.
