A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR CON-
STRUCTION OF CERTAIN FIRE STATIONS AT THE
LOCATIONS SET FORTH HEREIN, PRESCRIBING
CERTAIN CONDITIONS UPON WHICH THE AWARD
OF CONTRACT FOR STATION PROPOSED TO BE
LOCATED AT NW' 7TH AVENUE AND 17TH STREET
IS MADE; AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CON-
STRUCTION OF FIRE CHIEF'S RESIDENCE; AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY UNAGER TO =CUTE
FOR AND ON MAT" . OF THE CITY, CONTRACTS

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI:
Seotion 1. That the alternate bid of R. G. Titters Co., for
the oonstru.otion of tire station at NW 7th Avenue and 17th Street',
acoording to item f2 of the tabulation of bids reoeiyed for the
work, at and for the prioe of $36,700.00, be, and the same is here-
by, aooepted and oontraot awarded to said R. G. Titters Company up-
on condition that the Commission may, within a reasonable time, de-
signate some other site for the location of suoh proposed station
if it is deemed advisable to looate said station on a site other
than at HW 7th Avenue and 17th Street. The said station to be con-
structed and ereoted according to plans and specifications therefor
prepared by 1. Ten Eyck -Brown, Arohiteot.
Section 2. That the alternate bid of R. G. Titters Co., for
the contraction of fire station at Webb & Peters Street, at Little
uiver, according to item 12 of the tabulation of bids received for
the work, at and for the prioe of #35;400.00, be, and the same is
hereby, aooepted and oontraot awarded to said R. 0. Titters Company.
tvhe said station to be constructed and erected according to plans
and specifications therefor prepared by A. Ten Wax Brown, Arohiteot.
Section 3. That the bid of R. G. Titters Co., for the alter-
ation and addition to fire station at N. Miami Avenue and 14th Street,
in a000rdanoe with plane and specifications therefor prepared by
August (Adger, Architect, at and for the prioe of '52,424.00, be;and
the same is hereby accepted and oontraot awarded to said R. G. Titters

Seotion 4. That the bit of Williams Construction Co., for eono
atruetion of Fire Chief's Residenos, a000rding to plans and apeelo
fieations therefor prepared by H. H. Ebondy, Arohiteot, at ant for
the pride of 116,900.00, be, and the same is hereby, aeespted and
oontraot for the work awarded to said willies Construction Company.
Seotion 6. That the bit of The St. John Construotion Company;
for construction of tire station at Buena Yieta, aeeording to plans
and speoifieations therefor prepared by E. H. Ebmaan, Arebiteet„ at
and for the pride of 402,061.00, be, ant the same is hereby, &cospt•
et and oontraot for the work awarded to said St. John Construction
Company.
Section 6. That the City Manager be, art he is hereby, author-
ised and directed to execute, for and on behalf of the City of Miami.
the said contracts hereinabove awarded.
