A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO PUR-
CHASE FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF MIAMI CERTAIN
PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN FOR THE PURPOSE OF WIDENING
N.E. 2Ni) AVENUE AND N.E. 38T11 STREET AIND TO PAY FOR
SAME THE PI,TOE SET FORTH HEREIN.
BE IT RESOLVED BY `.11HE colru s-61uN OF THE CITY OF MIAMI:
That the City Lanager be, and he is hereby, authorized and
directed to acquire by purchase, for and on behalf of the City
of Miami, to be used for street purposes in the widening of N.E.
2nd Avenue and N.E. 38th Street, the following described property
and pay for same the sum of 612,500.00, to -wit:
The South 10 feet of Lot 8 of Newton's Sub-
division, according to the plat thereof re-
corded in Book 3 of Plats, Page 126, of the
Public :records of Dade County, Florida; Also
the North 4 feet of the South 14 feet of Lot
8 of said subdivision; Aloe the East 9i feet
of the North 21 feet of Lot 8 of said subdivi-
sion; Also the East 94- feet of Lot 7 of said
suodivision, Also the ',Hest 8 feet of the
East 18 feet of Lot 7 of said subdivision, Al-
so the 'Nest 8z feet of the East 18 feet of the
North 21 feet of Lot 8 of said subdivision;
Also the North 5z feet (except the East 18 feet
thereof) of the South 19;- feet of Lot 8 of said
subdivision.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 7th day of June, A. D. 1926.
