That the City taxes for the year 1925 in the amomnt of
867.00 against Lots 13 and 14 of Block 79 North,
owned by tit.
Trinity Methodist Church South, together with advertising ex•
pence amounting to 600 be, and the same are hereby, ordered
cancelled.

I am enclosing communication from J. A. Guiton, on
behalf of the Trustees of the Trinity Methodist Church South,
asking for exemption of taxes against Lots 13 and 14, Blk.
79 North, for the year 1925, which he claims was purchased
by this Church about January 1925.
I am advise& by G. R. Green, Tax Assessor, whose
letter is attached, that the deed of conveyance oonvey-
ing this property to the Trustees of the Trinity Methodist
Church South, has not been placed of record. Taxes for
the year 1925 on these two lots aggregate $867.00, against
which there is an advertising expense of W. In the
event it is decided to cancel the 1925 taxes a Resolution
should be adopted authorizing the oanoellation of this
total .Tam, 4,867.60.

This is to confirm nay verbal oouversation with
you of this morning, in which I advised you that the Trustees of
Trinity Methodist Church, South, composed of Homer Meroer, Chairman,
Marcus A. Milani and E.Y. Duncan, purohased lots 15 and 14 Block 79 N,
Which adjoins the present ohuroh property. ,%
Lot 14 was purchased from J.I. Cdati1ia October
22, 1924 and lot 13 was purchased from Jennie M. Jennings, January
loth, 1926. Therefore, both lots should be exempt from taxation for
the year 1926. 'faxes Were paid for the year 1924.
