A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAVING OF WEST D IXI$ HIGHWAY
FROM 42ND TO 54TH STREETS AND APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF
$1,000.00 FOR THE PURPOSE.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended the paving of West
Dixie Highway, from 42nd to 54th streets, at an estimated cost of
$9,000.00, and
WHEREAS, the County Commissioners offer to furnish $9,000.00
of the amount necessary,
NON, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OP THE CITY
OF MIAMI:
Seotion 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, au-
thorized to proceed with the paving of West Dixie Highway, from
42nd to 54th Streets, with City forces and equipment and to hire
additional equipment for the purpose necessary.
Section 2. That the sum of ,; 1,000.00 be, and the same is
hereby, appropriated from the fund for the cost of City's share
of street paving work.
Section 3. That no part of the cost of this improvement
shall be assessed to any City improvement district.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of April, A. D. 1926.
