A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2551 AUTHORIZING THE ACQII BY EMINENT DO- MAIN FOR STREET PURPOSES OF THE CITY OF MIAMI OF THE PROPERTY IN SAID CITY 1- IRAFTER DESCRIBED. 1HEREAS, on the 7th clay of December, A. D. 1926, the Com- mission of the City of Miami adopted a. resolution wherein it was resolve& that The teat Kaif (tom) of Lot Eleven (11) an&'' all of Lot Twelve (12) of Block Twp (2) of G1RDF .OF EDEN, an addition to the City of Miami, Dade County, Florida, according to a plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 12, in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for Dade County, Florida, was necessary and should be acquired for street purposes, and that the City Attorney be authorized and d.irected, to institute the neoee- sary legal proceedings in the name of the City of Miami for the ac- quirement by said City by eminent domain of the said property; and WHEREAS, AS, the City of Miami has had a survey made of the said property, and finds that it is necessary that theCity of Miami acquire for street purposes only that part of the said property located. in the City of Iriiami, State of Florida, described as follows, to -wit: The Vest Half (t' ) of Lot Eleven (11) of Block Two (2) of GARDEN OF EDEN, a subdivision of the City of Miami, Florida, as per plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 1Z, Public Records of Dade County, Florida= AND that part of Lot Twelve (12) of Block Twp (2) of GARDEN OF EDEN, a subdivision of the City of Miami, Florida, as per plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 12, Public Records of Dade County, Florida, more particularly described as follows, to -wit: Begin at the southeast corner of said lot, thence run north on the east line of the said lot a distance of 95 feet to the northeast corner of the said lot; thence west on the 4orth line of the said lot a distance of 15.91 feet; thence southwesterly to a point on the south line of the said lot 27.92 feet east of the southwest corner of the said lot' thence east on the south line of said lot a distance of 22.08 feet to the point of beginning; and W);REAS, the above and foregoing described property is neces- sary and.should,be acquire& by the City of Miami for street purposes; Ulf f ofi OF 4-,1-1yz4 "DOCUMEF;T INDEX r r.r r'i'1 i L 1 f7 REM'.k 4:: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF TES CITY OF MT4WT : That the said land hereinafter described and set forth in this resolution is necessary and should be acquired for street purposes, and that the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, author ized and directed to institutes the necessary legal proceedings in the name of the City of Miami for the acquirement by said.
