A RBSODUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTINQ THE BUILD-
IIIG INSPECTOR OF THE CITY OP MIAMI TO ISSUE A
SPECIAL BUILDING PERMIT TO DADE COUNTY SECURITY
COMPANY FOR THE ERECTION OF A BANK AND OFFICE
BUILDING AS SET FORVH HEREIN.
WHEREAS, by an amendment to the CityBuilding Code, it
is provided that in the erection and construction of build-
ings to a greater height than 125 feet, or 10 stories, it
shall be necessary to submit plane and specifications for such
building to the Building Inspector and the DireotQr of Public
Service for examination, and upon proper recommendation from
said Officials, the City Commission may authorize the issuance
of a Special Building Permit, and
WHEP,EAS, Lade County Security Company has submitted plane
and specifications for the erection of a bank and office build-
ing to be located on the North 501 of Lots 11, 12 and 13 of
Blook 104 North, the location being known as 117 N.E. First
Avenue, to a height of 166'4", or 15 stories, and
W EEAS, the yireotor of Public Service has submitted his
written approval of the plans and speoifioations for such build-
ing,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I'T RESOLVED BY THE COMUISSION OF 'I
CITY OF LIIAMdI: That the Building Inspector be, and he is he re -
by, authorized and directed to issue a Speoial building permit
to Dade County Security Company, for the erection and construo-
tion of the said building to be located as aforesaid.
PASSED ID ADOPTED this 23rd day of February, ii. D. 1926.
