A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF THORP &
KNIGHT TO SELL TO THE CITY CERTAIN PROPERTY
NEEDED FOR STREET PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Thorp & Knight have offered to sell to the City of
Miami a sixty (60) foot strip of land running East and West through
their property, which strip is neoeseary to open S.Y. 2nd Street,
for the sum of 75,000,00, and
WHEREAS, the Commission deems the prioe reasonable and fair.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI:
That the said offer of Thorp & Knight to sell to the City of
Miami a sixty (60) foot strip of land through their property, neces-
sary to open S.`.. 2nd Street, at and for the sum of $75,000.00, be,
and the same is hereby, accepted with the understanding that the
purchase price is to be paid when funds for the purpose are avail-
able.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this l5th day of February, A. D. 1926.
