MINUTES OF ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE BOARD OF 00I:iMI:iSI ON ERS OF THE CITY OF I•.LI AM.II , FLORIDA.
On this 16th day of February, 1926, the Commission of the City of Miami, Florida,
met at the City Hall in said City pursuant to an adjournment taken February 15th.
The meeting was oalled to order at 5:00 o'clock P., M. by Chairman E. C. Romfh, and on'
roll oall the following members of the Commission were present:
E. O. Romfh,
J. H. Gilman,
J. E. Lummus,
C. D. Leffler,
J. I. Wilson.
ABSENT: None.
'SALE OF 11, ROVEMENT BONDS - SERIES "Z"
The sale of Improvement Bonds,'Series "Z" was disousaed by the Commission, and it was
deemed advisable to defer the sale of said bonds until Friday, February 19th, 1926.
ACCEPTING DEDICATIONS IN NEW SUBDIVISIONS
The Director of Public) Service wubmitted the plats of pertain new subdivisions, bear-
ing his approval, showing the dedication of certain portions of such subdivisions to
the use of the Public. Such dedications were aooepted by the Commission by the fol-
lowing ordinances. 0n motion of Mr. Gilman, seconded by LIr. Lummus, it was resolved
that the Charter requirement that all ordinances be read and adopted on two separate
days, unless dispensed with by a four -fifths vote of the Commission, be dispensed
with and that the ordinanoes aocepting the dedications shown on the plats submitted
by the Director of Publio Service be given both readings at this meeting. The vote
thereon was as follows: AYES: Messrs. Romfh, Gilman, Lummus, Leffler, Wilson. NOES;;
None.
Whereupon an ordinanoe entitled:
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF 'THE'
STREETS, AVENUES AND HIGHWAYS IN THE SUBDIVI-
SION TO BE KNOWN AS "SAINTS PETER & PAUL.r.
was introduced by Mr. Gilman, and on his motion, seoonded by Mr. Wilson, was given
its first reading by title only and passed on its first reading by the following
vote - AYES: Messrs. Romfh, Gilman, Lummus, Leffler, Wilson. NOES: None. On mo-
tion of Ivir. Gilman, seconded by Mr. Lummus, the said ordinanoe was given its seoond
and final reading in full and passed and adopted on its seoond and final reading by
the following vote - AYES: Messrs. Romfh, Gilman, Lummus, Leffler, Wilson. NOES:
None. The said ordinanoe is designated ordinanoe No. 619, and is shown in full as
passed and adopted in ordinanoe Book 1.
An ordinanoe entitled:

STREETS, AVENUES AND HIGHWAYS IN THE RESUB-
DIVISION TO BE KNOWN AS "COMMERCIAL ROCKMOOR".
was introduoed by Mr. Lummus, and on his motion, seconded by Mr. Leffler, wqs given
its first reading by title only and passed on its first reading by the following
vote - AYES: Messrs. Romfh, Gilman, Lummus, Leffler, .ilson. NOES: None. On mo-
tion of Mr. Lummus, seconded by Mr. Gilman, the said ordinanoe was given its second
and final reading in full and passed and adopted on its second and final reading by
the following vote - AYES: Messrs. Romfh, Gilman, Lummus, Leffler, Wilson.. NOES:
None. The said ordinance is designated Ordinance No. 620 and is shown in full as
passed and adopted in Ordinance Book 1.
An ordinanoe entitled:

STREET IN THE SUBDIVISION TO BE KNOWN AS
"BEVERLY VIEW".
was introduoed by Mr. Leffler, and on his motion, seconded by Mr. Wilson, was given
its first reading by title only and passed on its first reading by the following
vote - AYES: Messrs. Romfh, Gilman, Lummus, Leffler, 'Wilaon.v. NOES: None. On mo-
tion of LIr. Leffler, seconded by Mr. Lummus, the said ordinance was given its second
and final reading in full and passed and adopted on its secondand final reading by
the following vote - AYES: Messrs. Romfh, Gilman, Lummus, Leffler, Wilson. NOES:
None. The said ordinanoe is designated ordinanoe No. 621 and is shown in full as
passed and adopted in Ordinance Book 1.
PURCHASE OF LOT AT FOOT OF 15TH ROAD
The City Attorney submitted the following communication addressed to the Commission-".

rights thereto, at the foot of S.E. 15th Road. formerly Broadway, in Point View:
Miami, Florida.

Gentlemen:
We, the undersigned, whioh set as a Board of Arbitration to
appraise Briokell's outlot and riparian rights thereto, at the foot of
Broadway in Point View, have arrived at the value of Seventy Thousand
(70,000.00) Dollars.

The value fixe6 by the Board of Arbitration et :,70,000.00 was considered fair by tho
Commission, and a resolution acoepting same and authorizing the purchase of the prop-
erty at the prise so fixed was introdi sod by Mr. Gilman, who moved its adoption:

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COIYE4I3SI0N OF THI; CITY OF MIAMI:
Beotion 1. That the value of Briokell.'s outiot and riparian
rights thereto, at the foot of S.E. 15th Ro7rd, formerly known as
Broadway, in Point View, fixed by the Board of Arbitration at Seven-
ty Thousand ($70,000.00) Dollars be, and the same is hereby, accepted.
Section 2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to pur-
obese for, and on behalf of the City of Miami, the said property and
to pay the purchase pride thereof as soon as funds are available for
the purpose.
Upon being seconded by Mr. Leffler, the said resolution was passed and adopted by the'
following vote - AYES: Messrs. Romfh, Gilman, Lummus, Leffler, Wilson. NOES: None.
ADJOURNMENT
{ There being no further business to come before the Commission a is meeting, on mo-
tion duly made and seconded, the meeting was adjourned until o' cloak P. M., Fri-
day, February 19th, 1926, for the purpose of selling approxi tel $2,500.000.00 Im-
provement Bonds, Series "Z", City of Miami, and to take =;oh other business that
might properly oome before the Commission.
