The purpose of the special meeting will be to consider and take any and all actions related to considering, preparing, and approving a ballot question to submit to the electorate for majority approval of an operating and management agreement for the Miami Marine Stadium and Flex Park to Global Spectrum L.P., a foreign limited partnership, by special election in accordance with Section 3(f)(iii) of the Charter of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended. Trump called his one- time lawyer "the greatest mayor" and a "great American patriot," in post Monday on Truth Social. "As president of the United States of America, I am pleased to announce that Rudy Giuliani, the greatest mayor in the history of New York City, and an equally great American patriot, will receive THE PRESIDEN- TIAL MEDAL OF FREE- DOM, our country's high- est civilian honor," Trump wrote, adding that details about a time and location were still being worked out. Giuliani, 81, was re- leased from the hospital Monday afternoon after he was involved in a car crash in Manchester, N.H., on Saturday night. Giuliani suffered a frac- tured vertebra when the car he was riding in was "struck from behind at high speed" on Interstate 93. "He was transported to a nearby trauma center, where he was diagnosed with a fractured thoracic vertebrae, multiple lacer- ations and contusions, as well as idryries to his left arm and lower leg," said Giuliani s head security official, Michael Ragusa. Ragusa said Giuliani was in "great spirits" and was "fully alert and con- scious." Hannon City Clerk South Cottage Grove Ave'n The shooting left a 17- yearold boy in critical condition at the University of Chicago Medical Center with multiple gunshot wounds to the body, ac- cording to police. The victims also in- cluded a 33-yearold man shot in the arm and report- ed to be in fair condition, as well as a 36-yearold woman shot in the leg, a 33-yearold man shot in the leg and arm and a 26-year-old man shot in the leg in good condition. Police were responding to a call of a "large dis- turbance" nearby when the shooting occurred. Authorities said they reco- vered four guns at the scene. Detectives were questioning a person of interest, according to the Chicago police. The shooting occurred one day after an unknown gunman drove by and opened fire on a crowd standing outside on the 3500 block of South State Street. Seven people were shot in the late Saturday night attack, and all seven were listed in good condi- tion after the shooting, according to police. Police said no one was in custody as of Monday afternoon in connection with the Sat- urday shooting. Two Chicagoans were fatally wounded in sep- arate shootings Sunday evening, police said. A 26-year-old woman was in front of an Altgeld Gardens home around 7:30 p.m. when a gunman described by police as a "known offender" shot her in the chest and killed her. Around an hour later, police found a man dead with multiple wounds to the body in Little Village. As of Monday afternoon, police reported at least 55 people had been shot city- wide, with seven people killed, over the Labor Day weekend.
