A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE
REPLACEMENT OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3431 NORTHWEST 6 AVENUE,
ORIGINALLY SELECTED TO BE DEVELOPED AS AN AFFORDABLE TWIN HOME IN
DISTRICT 5, WITH THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1755 NORTHWEST 2 COURT IS
AUTHORIZED ("UPDATED PROJECT"); AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE ANY AND ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS INCLUDING
EXTENSIONS, AMENDMENTS, AND MODIFICATIONS, ALL IN FORMS

A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE
REPLACEMENT OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3431 NORTHWEST 6 AVENUE,
ORIGINALLY SELECTED TO BE DEVELOPED AS AN AFFORDABLE TWIN HOME IN
DISTRICT 5, WITH THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1755 NORTHWEST 2 COURT IS
AUTHORIZED ("UPDATED PROJECT"); AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE ANY AND ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS INCLUDING
EXTENSIONS, AMENDMENTS, AND MODIFICATIONS, ALL IN FORMS
ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY ATTORNEY, FOR SAID PURPOSE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. R-25-0110 adopted on March 13, 2025, the City
Commission accepted a proposal received July 15, 2024 pursuant to RFP No. HCD 2021-04
from Cazo Construction Corporation a Florida Profit Corporation, and RF Construction Group,
Inc., a Florida Profit Corporation (Collectively "Developers"), for the development of two
affordable single-family homes and two affordable twin -homes located at 1544 Northwest 58
Terrace, 411 Northeast 69 Street, 1465 Northwest 60 Street, and 3431 Northwest 6 Avenue
("Project"); and
WHEREAS, the District 5 Commissioner is requesting the property located at 1755
Northwest 2 Court be utilized for affordable housing which is in the best interests of the City;
and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to replace the property located at 3431
Northwest 6 Avenue, which were originally selected for the Project, with the property located at
1755 Northwest 2 Court ("Updated Project"); and
WHEREAS, except as described herein, no other portion of the Project shall be
impacted by this Resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are
adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The replacement of the property located at 3431 Northwest 6 Avenue, which
was originally selected for the Project, with the property located 1755 Northwest 2 Court is
authorized.'
Section 3. The City Manager is authorized' to negotiate and execute any and all
necessary documents, including amendments, extensions, and modifications, all in forms
acceptable to the City Attorney, for said purpose.
1 The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all legal requirements that may be
imposed, including but not limited to, those prescribed by City Charter and City Code provisions.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
