Hepburn City of Miami Resident (District 1) Nich Marc 965 PH. PH I'd Like to express my strong support for the American Dream Miami project because of JuL oLas hitto Heave the Long-term impact I believe it could have on Miami's economy and identity. This 05 nLy PUBLIC project isn't just a malt; it is a true destination. It would be one of the Largest 2025 Drive HEARIN entertainment complexes in the country, blending shopping, dining, indoor skiing, water 7:20p G parks, and more. That kind of mufti -use development attracts year-round tourism, which m means consistent revenue for the city, not just during high season. The fact that this wilt MDT be the biggest and potentially the most popular malt in the country, and for it to be right in your city, is so amazing to think about as a resident. It is not just about shopping, it is about creating a world -class experience that Locals and tourists alike can enjoy. What is often overlooked is that this type of project also helps keep Local tourism dollars in Miami. Right now, many families travel to Orlando or out of state for these experiences. American Dream Miami would give residents a world -class attraction right here at home, and Local small businesses could benefit from the increased foot traffic, supply chain contracts, and job opportunities. On a broader scale, this project has the potential to 17872 Submittal -Public Comments Submitted Online for the July 10, 2025 City Commission Meeting First Last Nam Nam e e Street Addre ss 965 Nich Marc Heave oLas hitto nLy Drive 965 Nich Marc Heave oLas hitto nLy Drive Agenda Item Public Comment diversify Miami's economy, which is still heavily reliant on real estate, hospitality, and seasonal tourism. With American Dream, we gain another pillar: year-round entertainment, employment, and global attention. Of course, I understand there are environmental and traffic concerns, but I believe with proper oversight, this project can be built responsibly. It could become a Landmark, something that brings pride to the region white driving economic growth in ways we have not fully tapped into yet. Please consider continuing to support this vision. It wilt define a new era for Miami -Dade. This comment is not related to a specific agenda item. I am submitting a general public comment to request clarity regarding the status of a planned demolition project in downtown Miami. Specifically, I am referring to the Harry Cain Tower, which I personalty visited on May 20, 2025, and can confirm is stilt standing. According to public records, a PH. PH proposal to demolish the building was introduced in mid -July 2024 (around JuLy 16-21), and a Combined Notice of Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) and Notice of Intent PUBLIC to Request Release of Funds (NOIRROF) was issued on October 25, 2024 — typically a HEARIN formaL step preceding federally funded demolition or redevelopment projects. Given this G timeline, I am requesting an update on the status of the project. Has a demolition permit been issued? If not, is one stilt planned? And if so, what is the expected timeline for demolition? The community would benefit from transparency on this matter, especially if delays are due to funding, environmental, or permitting issues. Thank you for your time and your continued service to the public. DI. 6 The current Miami Police Department headquarters in downtown Miami is outdated and #17837 Lacks aesthetic appeal. It is time to demolish the existing facility and replace it with a Discussi state-of-the-art building. The dedicated men and women of the Miami Police Department on - deserve a modern, more functional headquarters that reflects their commitment and MPD sacrifices as they put their Lives on the Line every day to protect the citizens of Miami. I, Headqu and most people would agree that this discussion should be a priority as we want the afters best of the best for the entire Miami Police Department.
