♦ RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
BUILDING INSPECTOR OP THE CITY 01 MI♦MI TO
ISSUE ♦ SPECIAL BUILDING PERMIT TO RIND
PROPERTIES POR THE ERECTION OP ♦ HOTEL
BUILDING ♦8 SET POSTE HEREIN.
WHEREAS, by an amendment to the City Building Code,it
is provided that in the erection and construction of build-
ings to a greater height than 125 feet, or 10 stories, it
shall be necessary to submit plane and specifications for
such building to the Building Inspeotor and the Director
of Public Service for examination, and upon proper reoom-
mendation from said Offioiala, the City Commission may au-
thorize the issuance of a Special Building Permit, and
WHEREAS, Rand Properties, Inc., have submitted plans
and epeoifioations for the erection of a hotel building to
be looated on Lots 7-9-10-11-12, Block 20, of Robbins,
Graham and Chillingsworth Addition, to a height of 168 feet,
or 15 stories, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service has submitted his
written approval of the plane and specifications for said
building,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI: That the Building Inspector be, and he is
hereby, authorized and directed to issue a Special building
permit to Rand Properties, Inc., for the ereotion and oon-
struotion of the said building to be located as aforesaid.
