POLICE DEPARTMENT OP THE CITY OP MIAMI r
WHEREAS, it is the sense of the Commission that, in
Of the high living costs in the City of Miami, the salariesi .;p
the members of the Police Department are inadequate, and
WHEREAS, the Acting City Manager has recommended that. no
change be made in the salaries of the members of the Police De-
partment until after the re -organization of the said Department
is complete, and
WHEREAS, it is the sense of the Commission and the recom-
mendation of the toting City Manager that until a revision of
salaries can be made provision should be made for additional
compensation for members of the said Department,
NO4, THEREFORE, BE 12 n::SOLVED BY THE COINISSION OF THE
CITY OF L IA: I: That there be, and hereby is, authorized addi-
tional compensation for all members of the Police Department,
of the City of .:;iami in the sumo of 25.00 per month for each
such member, eaiae to be effective as of September lst, 1925,
and to continue until a revision of salaries in said Department
is made.
