RESOLUTION NO. 2090.
l RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
BUILDING INSPECTOR OF THE CITY OF MIAMI TO
ISSUE A SPECIAL BUILDING PERMIT TO BISCAYNE
HOTEL COMPANY FOR THE ERECTION OF A HOTEL
BUILDING AS SET FORTH HEREIN.
WHEREAS, by an amendment to the City Building Code, it is
provided that in the erection and construction of buildings to
a greater height than 125 feet, or 10 stories, it shall be neo-
essary to submit plans and specifications for such building to
the Building Inspector and the Director of Public Service for
examination, and upon proper recommendation from said officials,
the City Commission may authorize the issuance of a special
building permit, and
WHEREAS, Biscayne Hotel Company has submitted plans and
specifications for the erection of a hotel building to be located
on Lot 14, Block 61 North, to a height of 137 feet and 4 inches,
and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service has submitted his
written approval of the plans and specifications for said build-
ing,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI: That the building Inspector be, and he is hereby, au-
thorized end direoted to issue a special building permit to Bis-
cayne Hotel Company for the erection ana construction of the said
hotel building.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this llth day of August, A. D. 1925.
