proper line and grade are already in place the construction of°a new
curb anu gutter will be omitted and credit will be given;
Laying a pavement of:
(a) Sheet asphalt 3 in. thick, upon a foundation of local
pit rock not less than 6 in. thick; two drives 48 ft. wide and.
extending from curb to curb; and two drives 32 ft. wide and ex-
tending fr.m curb t• curb. 2rovidin7 necessary drainage inlets,
catch -basins and manholes for sewers;
or
(b) .entncky mock- Asphalt 1,t- in. thick upon a foundation
of local pit rock not less than 9 in. thick, two drives 48 ft.
