ITS RIGHT, TITLE AND INTEREST IIf ANDTO 'A,z AND ALL OF THE PROVISIONS OF THAT CERTAIN WiA11- CHISE GRANTED BY THE CITY TO THE FLORIDA EAST COAST HOTEL COMPANY, ITS SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS. ************* WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms of Ordinance No. 3500 approved by the electorate of the said City of Miami on April 21, 1925, the Miami Electric Light and Power Com- pany has filed with the City Clerk the surrender of all of its right, title and interest in and to any and all of the provisions of that certain franchise granted by the City of Miami, Florida, to the Florida East Coast Hotel Company, its successors and assigns and passed and adopted by said City October 4th, 1900, and approved October 5th, 1900, relating in any way to the acquisition, ownership, construction, main- tenance and operation of an electric plant or plants, and to the use of the streets, avenues, alleys, ways and public and private grounds for laying, placing, erectinq, replacing, tak- ing up, maintaining and operating poles, lines and wires for the use in any way of electricity and any' and all appliances ne- cessary or proper for the successful operation, use and control of such electric plant or plants, SOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the City of Miami: That the City of Miami, Florida, does hereby accept the surrender by the '!iami Electric Light and Power Company of all its right, title and interest in and to any and all of the pro- visions of that certain franchise ='ranted by the said City of Miami to the Florida East Coast Hotel Company, its successors and assigns, relating id any way to the purposes set forth above.
