WHIMS, the Oity Manager has reooamendet the
purchase of additional fire -fighting equipment in
order to bring the Fire Department up to a high
standard of efficiency and to meet the reoommendations
of the Engineers of the National Board of Fire Under-
writers,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of
the City of Miami: That the City Manager be, and he
is hereby, authorized and directed to plaoe orders for
two triple oombination pumping engines and one service
ladder truck and for 2,000 feet of fire hose.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of April, A. D.
