NOT TO EXCEED $70,000.00.
WHEREAS, the funds in the Water Supply BondFund ard'e
hauated and the Department of Finance requests authority for
purchase of additional materials, equipment, eta., necessary in
seouring a water supply, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance reports that such addi-
tional purchases will amount to a total of approximately *70,000.00.
including $13,000.00 already ordered,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT. RESOLVED by the Commission of the' City
of Miami;
1: That the Director of Finance be, and he is hereby, author-
ized to take such purohases as are necessary to carry on the work of
securing a water supply in andmount not to exceed '1557,000.00 in ad-
dition to the $13,000.00 in orders already placed.
2: That the sum of q170,000.00 be, and is hereby, appropriated
from the General Fund Surplus to the Plater Supply Bond Fund, the trans-
fer of said sum to be made when funds are available.
