♦ RESOLUTION, ACCEPTING THE 0OFER OF G, C.
KIRKLAND TO BELL LOT SITUATED ON TSB SOUTH-
WEST CORNER OF NW 7TH AVENUE AND 17TH STREET
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO PURCHASE
SAME FOR AID ON BEHALF 01 THE OITY OF YIAYI.
WHEREAS, G. C. Kirkland has offered to sell to the City
of Miami the lot situated on the Southwest corner of NM 7th
Avenue and 17th Street for and in consideration of tie sus of
$15,000.00, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended that the said
lot be purchased for a site for a sub -station for the fire De-
partment, and
WHEREAS, the Commission considers the prioe asked for the
said lot to be a fair one,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the
City of Miami:
1: That the offer of G. C. Kirkland to sell to the City
of Miami that certain lot situated on the Southwest corner of
NW 7th Avenue and 17th Street at and for the sum of $15,000.00
in cash be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City of
Miami.
2: That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, author-
ized and directed to purchase the said lot at the price Get forth
above upon the owner furnishing the City with an abstract of title.
showing a good and marketable title to said property and upon re-
ceipt of a warranty deed, said abstract and deed to be examined
and approved by the
