1 RESOLUTION REJECTING THE BID OP C. A. TAYLOR
POR CONSTRUCTION at RECREATION PIER AT S2 86T8
STREET AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO SE-
CURE COMPETITIVE PRICES FOR THE SAID WOW.
WHEREAS, by publio advertisement the Commission called
for bide for the oonetruotion of rsorestion pier at the foot
of NB 36th Street and received only one bid which was sub-
mitted by C. A. Taylor in the eum of $12,970.00, and
WHEREAS, upon comparison with the Engineer's Estimate
of the cost of the work the Commission considers said bid
high and deems it advisable to reject same and direct the
City Manager to seoure competitive bids for the work,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the
City of Miami: That the bid of C. A. Taylor fortbe oon-
etruotion of recreation pier at the foot of NE 36th Street
at and for the sum of $12,970.00 be, and the same is here-
by, re j eoted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and is
hereby, directed to seoure oompetitive bids for the oonstruo-
tion of said pier and submit same to the Commission at a
later date.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk return the
certified chEok hich accompanied the bid of said O. A. Tay-
lor forthwith.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this loth day of February, A. D.
