OF THE GROOVER-STEWART DRUG COM-
PANT TO PURCHASE CERTAIN LOTS
OWNED BY THE CITY OF MIAM I AND
DESCRIBED IN THIS RESOLUTION AND,,
AUTHORIZING THE CITY LAGER TO
. EXECUTE DEED FOR SUCH PROPERTY
UNDER THE TEEMS AND CONDITIONS
SET FORTgg HEREIN.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami, Merida, by publitl'aiiVei
tisement, oalled for sealed bide for Lots 17, 18 and 19,
Block 44 North, and
WHEREAS, upon tabulation of the bids received it ap-
pears that the offer of the Groover -Stewart Drug Company to
pay 342,000.00 for the said three lots is the highest and
best bid received,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of
the City of Miami:
1: That the offer of the Groover -Stewart Drug Company
to pay $42,000.00 for Lots 17, 18 and 19 of Block 44 North,
of the City of Miami, Florida, be, and the same is hereby,
accepted by the City of Miami. on condition that the trans-
action is closed within S0 days.
2: That the City Manager be, and he is Hereby, author-
ized and directed to execute, for and on behalf of the City
of Miami, a warranty deed conveying to said The Groover -Stew-
art Drug Company the said lots described above upon the fol-
lowing terms and conditions, to -wit:
One-third of the purchase price to be paid in cash.
Cris -third of the purchase price to be due and pay-
able one (1) year from the date of closing of the
tratisactio n.
